Doreen For Tiny Tots Crochet Knitting Pattern Book Volume 95

Here's my third Doreen Book.   Do you suppose that is the beginning of yet another collection?    This say Volume 95, and I have Volumes 102 and 104, so I'd say, there must be at least another 102 of them out there.

This vintage booklet, 1947, by Nell Armstrong, contains a sweet selection of baby layette items.  A couple of the patterns are crochet, a couple are knitted and a couple require both.   These details are shown below each picture.    Here, let me know show you.
For TINY TOTS
500 - Snow Suit Size 1 - 2:  Knitted with 1 pair #3 single pointed and details with a Bone 5 crochet hook.  Set includes the sweater, leggings, mittens, and cap.

502 - Cardigan & Hat, Size 1:  Knitted with 1 pair #2 single pointed and 1 pair #4 single pointed with crocheted details, #3 bone hook.

503 - Lovers Knot Set, Infants:  Crocheted with a #4 Bone hook.  This set has a sweater, booties and a bonnet.

504 - Saque and Bonnet - Infants to 1 year:  Knitted with 1 pair #3 single pointed needles.

505 - Shell Stitch Set, Infants:  This set is crocheted with a #3 bone hook.   It includes the sweater, booties and a sweet little cap.

507 - Block Pattern Cardigan, Size 2 years:  Knitted with 1 pair each #1 and #3 single pointed needles.   Note ... a lot of variety here with the cardigan, and Nell tossed in a little cap as well.

509 - Girls Bonnet, Size 6 months to 1 year:  Bonnet is crocheted with a bone #3 hook.

510 - Star Stitch Set - Infants:  To make this layette, jacket, booties and a bonnet, you will need a #5 afghan hook.

508 - Boy's Helmet, Size 6 months to 1 year:  This cap is crocheted with a bone #3 hook.

511 - Infants Knitted Set:  This tiny outfit is a knitted sweater and hat.  Use 1 pair each of #1 and #3 single pointed needles.

512 - Surplice Set - 6 months to 1 year:  This set is a little sweater and an adorable cap.  It is knitted with 1 pair each of  #1 and #3 single pointed needles.

514 - Feather & Fan This carriage robe is knitted with 1 pair of #6 needles.   The finished measurements are not given.

515 - Ripple Robe - This carriage robe is crochted with a #6 bone hook.   The finished measurements are not state.

And, the back cover gives us another view of pattern 505 - Shell Stitch Set.

Overall, it's a delightful book.   The boys helmet is uniquely different and I love the little cap with the pointed pom-pom end.   I'll also have to admit that I had never heard the term 'carriage robe'.    Originally, just looking at the picture, I thought is might be some type of bag to haul baby stuff around, but a quick Google search set me straight.   It's a blanket !

Thanks for dropping by,
Lorrie
